Spam Sorting in Webmail

Message Rules can be used with your tcworks.com email account to automatically sort messages into different folders of your choosing. You can also use them to automatically delete possible spam messages from the server. We will show you below how to put tcworks.com spam alerts into a folder called SPAM, which you can manually look through if you would like. This prevents possible spam messages from cluttering your INBOX.

To Create a Filtering rule

  1. Click on Folders, then type "Spam" into the create folder box and click 'Create'

    tools
  2. Click on 'Options', 'Message Filters', Click 'New'

  3. In the Match box select 'Subject' from the drop down menu

    accounts

  4. In the Contains box, type in 'Possible Spam'

  5. In the Move to: option select "mail/.Spam" from the drop down menu.

This will move all mail with the "Possible Spam" tag into your 'Spam' folder.  The message rules will then be activated the next time you login to your web mail account.
